What does the Nature & More True Cost of Food campaign do?

We calculate the hidden costs for specific organic products and compare them to their conventional counterparts. We then share this information with consumers in the store! To communicate the numbers clearly, we used the Sustainability Flower to display the costs for all aspects of sustainability: climate, soil, water, biodiversity, social aspects, and health (where data is available). We supply information cards with the Sustainability Flower along with our products.

In the "True Cost Accounting for Food, Farming and Finance" pilot, that was presented in Juni 2017,  we didn't just look at products, but we also calculated a True Cost profit & loss statement for Eosta as a company. The resulting report presents a practical True Cost Accounting dashboard for SME companies in farming, food and finance.
